I am particularly sleepy today.. I didn’t drink my usual dose of Chek Hup today.. Stock finishing soon, and I didn’t want to get myself addicted now as we’re only halfway of the semester.. Too much coffee is not good for ANYONE and being a serious addict myself, I have been trying my best to cut down my caffeine intake.
Today I went for CE class in Building 21. Apparently our lecturer is busy with something and had to cancel class. Haish. And there looking my best, class pulak cancel. Apalah. Went to Mr Lai’s office to get the questionaires for the PF project and I happened to see his laptop, which reminded me one day in class that he suddenly announced he wanted to sell his laptop. Hmm. Seriously, his laptop looks quite well-kept, except it’s HUGE. It’s most probably 17-inch kot. Hehe. No thank you, I still prefer my 12.1 inch lappy.
And today I attended Malaysian Studies as well! Hehe. Told Kul I wanted to leave earlier to put pressure in my tires. And oh my gawd, guess what I found out. My back tyre is punctured! We saw a HUGE screw on the tyre, which most probably caused the tyre flat. I doubt I can survive driving the rough roads to Tronoh, so I had the petrol station guy to change my tyre. This guy, according to Kul, seems very unfit as he was huffing and puffing so much while changing it. I didn’t realise it cuz I was too busy freaking out calling my parents to tell them what happened. Calling mum was not quite a wise choice cuz she freaked out as soon as she heard it. Perhaps thats how I quite easily freak out. ANYWHOOS. Called dad and he said just change tyre and go Tronoh to fix it. I really love my dad la. He’s as cool as a cucumber at times like this.
So off me and Kul went to Tronoh to fix the tyre. It’s in the shop opposite Pink Shop. Never really notice it, since this is my first experience with punctured tyres. And while the man was fixing my tyre, this creepy guy came and talk to me. When I mean creepy, I reli reli reli mean it.! He was speaking in Canto, which I don’t understand at all. Den he ask me, “Are you Malay?” I’m like, “No”. After finding out where I am from, Creepy-guy still continue talking and talking about high cost of living in Singapore and JB. OMG. I almost totally ignored him, giving occasional glances at my watch and pretend to look busy. Kul just ignored him straight. At last he left and I breathed in relief! Phew! -Wipe sweat-
And that’s when I went for Msian Studies class. When we approached the door, Kul said, “Wow, we’re more than half an hrs late”. Hmm. Wanna know my record? Last Monday, I came for Mr Lai’s class one and a half hrs LATE for a two hour class. Hehe. Technically I can just skip it lar but then I felt bad for not going for his class. Though showing up that late doesn’t seem to bother him, I made up my mind NOT to be late for any of his class anymore.
So far so good. Hehe.
My new Msian studies lecturer is actually quite smart but he is not humourous at all. But at least he knows his stuff. Ask him anything about Msian history and he’ll talk away as if it his personal life. Hehe. I felt bad for him as students are dozing off in class and he noticed it as well. He said, “I see many people nodding, but I’m sure it’s not nodding because you understand, more like because you are sleeping”. Haha. Nevertheless, I like him better this week.
Have to sleep soon. Tomoro have to send Chia Ming to Medan Gopeng at 7.20! AM! Gosh, I hope I can wake up.
Anywhoos. HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY MALAYSIA!
