Why can’t you just let me do things my way? I know I can be heartless sometimes. I am like that, so if you cannot stand it, pls accept me as how I am. But I know it is impossible for you to do it.
I regret what I’ve done. But time cannot be turned back to undo it.
I’m sorry.
Scene 1.
Batch Dinner in a fancy hotel. Everyone look fanta-bulous! Goodbye to jeans, shirts and knickers, say HELLO to evening gowns, strappy high heels and fedora hats! Dinner was good, montage was great, finale was fantastic!
Scene 2.
“Antara Revolusi Sexuilisme, Melayuisme dan Omputihlime di UTP” became the hot topic of the week here! Some UTPian wrote a blog entry about how the UTP Malays have adopted the Orang Putih habits, bla bla bla. Haloo. We’re currently living in the 21st Century now. You can go bek to ur 18th Century if you want to.
Scene 3:
Rector issued a public warning for those who have “tarnished the image of the university through demeanning behaviour”.
Scene 4:
Public uproar! (Okay, I exaggerated
) Well, the committee issued an explanation, which sounds pretty much reasonable and the blog owner issued a public apology. Hmmm.

Remember my previous rants about being shortlisted in EDX? Yesh, finally after a super loooooong break, I’m finally free to blog about it!
Venue: Chancellor’s Hall
Date: 23-24th October 2007.

My booth, undecorated yet. Plain and ugly!
Decorating the booth was fun, although there was SO many setbacks initially. My plan was to paste the sugarpaper as the backdrop of the fugly booth and then paste my poster cardboard on it. APPARENTLY, the board is too soft and the sugarpaper wasn’t strong enough to support the weight of the cardboard! Many of the poster cardboards came crashing down KEBABOOM! Gosh. So after devising some smart plans with Iwan, I decided to paste the poster cardboard str8 on the board, instead to the sugarpaper. After putting a gazillions amount of double-sided tape, green tack and cellotapes, finally my cardboard stayed on the baord. Phew!

It was midnight, and people are still preparing their booth!
DAY ONE

Me and my nicely decorated booth!

Hex, me and Ken at EDX Opening Ceremony
DAY TWO

Lawai, Bismo, me, Jandi and Kien

Final photo before leaving.. (actly we cabuted early too!
)
And apparently, I won silver medal for my insignificant effort for my FYP! Woo hooo! I’m shocked actually to get the message from Daarsh, and some juniors actually came up to me to congratulate me! Heheh.. Abit bangga, yet abit pai seh, cuz I know I didn’t RELI do a good job at it lah. Perhaps the judges just want the concept, and not the final product. Heheh.
Whatever. I won. WOo HoOOooo.
These past few weeks have been terribly tiring! Assignments, projects, final presentations.. UTP IS KILLING US mannnnnn!
