OMG I finally graduated! :D :D :D

*Photos will be uploaded soon!*

Can you keep a secret? I mean, really REALLY keep a secret? To me, keeping people’s secret are easier than keeping my own secret. Not that I have a dark sensational story or what, but its just tough to reveal my innermost thoughts to anyone out there.

Seriously. And that’s why I love this book by Sophie Kinsella, named Can You Keep A Secret?

“Can You Keep a Secret is the newest book by Sophie Kinsella, who wrote that quirky, funny Shopaholic trilogy. Emma, a modern girl with modern problems and a fear of flying, confesses all her secrets to the man beside her on a bumpy flight back from a disastrous business meeting. Not a big deal, right? At least not until she sees him at work … and realizes he owns the company! Now, every time Emma turns around, Jack Harper is there, grinning at her in a way that says he knows more than he’s saying. Which he does. Emma’s so sure she has ruined her opportunity for a promotion, but Jack seems as eager to keep their meeting a secret as Emma is. Yet, he won’t leave her alone. He talks to the family that tends to neglect her, he asks her to clandestine meetings. He’s driving her crazy–in more ways than one. When Emma dumps her boyfriend Connor, who she hadn’t realized until she met Jack that she could never love, she and Jack embark on a somewhat strange relationship. Emma thinks Jack’s perfect, until he publicly humiliates her with all those things she told him on the plane! “

Verdict: I love it.

Why? : The simplicity of the story, the classic humour and chemistry between the two leads are very endearing to the heart and also very, very touching.

I just happened to found an old guy friend of mine who actually reads it! (oh and The Domestic Goddess as well). :P Anyways. All girls who loike chick lit and for guys who can “accept” it too shud grab it in the bookstore. :)

You know you love me

I’ve been reading this blog featured on wordpress.. talks abt why modern women don’t find their Mr. Right… I think its very practical, realistic, with a touch of ouch if it reflects on yourself.

We have been much polluted by the media about the perfect romance, ie:
1. guy likes girl, continuous persistence by guy, finally girl realised what guy has done and finally fall for him.
2. first love lasts forever.

In my opinion, first love doesn’t last forever. Nowadays people socialise so much that their social network has increased tremendously that sometimes poeple tend to have more than 1 crush. In fact, they do not know what they really want until the other is gone. So hence case no. 3 will be presented below:-
3. they both liked each other but neither one say anything until one is gone.

We are getting more and more outspoken about our thoughts now, but why is it when you want to reveal your true feelings to the guy, it is so damn hard to put thoughts into words? Or is it because we are too shy? Or afraid to be rejected?

Rejection is also another matter. It hurts, knowing that the guy doesn’t like you as much you do, and it upsets you so much that knowing you care so much for him but he does not reciprocate. And so if you are rejected, you also are afraid things get sour among the two of you as friends.

And so if that happens, you are also afraid of the people around you know what exactly happened. It creates the fear of shame and embarassment, thinking people will look down on you. It hadn’t occured to you that your fear of everything will turn into hate for that particular person eventually.

Hate is not a healthy emotion and I believe that hating someone takes up more energy than trying to be happy. Plus it makes you depressed and miserable, makes you feel like hating each and everyone more when they try to be happy around you.

I dunno what I’m trying to highlight here.. just a piece of thought after spending the whole morning reading the blog. Prolly what I really want to say here is that don’t let negativity put you down and try to look at the brighter side when things are not going your way.

Ok la. Shall not preach so much dy. Btw, yday was the first time I slept in a movie… Guess I was really exhausted, after a whole tiring day of working + going to Kuantan.

Or maybe Mummy 3 sucks :P
