Merry Xmas~!

Yuu hoo~ A very belated Xmas wish to everyone… was in Spore for 3 days.. It was so fun, despite the hectic schedule and the looooong walk around town… As usual, photos will be uploaded in FB, so check it out over there… really lazy to upload it on flickr..

Anyways. Spore was reli fun! I guess the company I was with were hilarious… we went to Sentosa, Little India and also Singapore Zoo… thanks alot to Guna and his apartment right in the middle of town… it was really cool staying there! Plus clubbing in Clarke Quay was really fun too! Tho the drinks was pretty mahal la…

Now I’m back to JB… will be going to KL on 30th..! Can’t wait for Leesh’s party!

I can’t believe it. One weekend has passed by so fast. I spent my whole weekend in office, finishing up the presentation pack to be presented to my GM tmr. (Right now I’m actually starving, having no dinner but maybe I’ll grab my milo pack later). Plus another pack to brief GM on my dept’s role and responsibilities. Apparently there are some smart kids out there want to abolish my department saying that we’re an extra layer of reporting in the planning hierrachy. Gosh. Maybe its best for me (i get to go KL!) but I don’t exactly feel satisfied seeing the upper management not appreciating our existence.

Anyways. Am just gonna focus on my presentation tomoro AND going back home this Wed! Yippie Ki Yay!

When things are not going your way..

what would you do? Recently I felt that alot of things happening to me are NOT going my way. For example:-

1. Me wanting to go KK on Sat –> Me having presentation on Sunday at work.
2. Me wanting to take leave on Wed to spend time in KK –> Me having to finish CPB pack and present to special PMC by Thurs at work.
3. Me wanting to go KK itself –> Team leader wanting to cancel meeting (but was fixed upon remaining the same schedule)
4. Me wanting to reach KK on Sunday nite –> Flight was full, so I have to take the 4am flight to KK. (can someone wake me up pls!)
5. Me wanting to clear up her leaves –> Me having “extra” responsibilities at work so gotta be in office as often as possible.

Seriously. Sometimes its tiring to think about what I have to do. But sometimes its good to drown yourself in work. I can easily forget about things that I should not be thinking, which I’ve been thinking alot, lately.

Well at least I’m still going to KK. Better than not able to go, I say.

And so he goes…

She was upset. Brian left her a message on the phone, asking her to pick up his laundry. “Why can’t he do it herself?” She wondered aloud. With a heavy sigh, she quickly changed and headed to the door.

And then she saw. “Friends coming for dinner. Cook for 4″ was on the note left by Brian by the table. Her eyes narrowed as she skimmed through the lines again. “Cook for FOUR? What, he thinks I’m a maid or what?” She shooked her head and went back to her room, getting more cash from her drawers. Brian was being ridiculous, she muttered, but she knew she’ll do it anyways.

The air outside was damp and windy. She wrapped her jacket around her tightly as she lightly jogged to the car. As she started driving, she realised something in her car was not right. Her faithful station wagon has never failed her. Feeling a little suspicious, she stopped her car by the road and went down to check. And then she saw. A big fat nail stuck in her tyre, causing a puncture.

“Oh man.. COME ON!” She kicked the flat tyre, cursing her luck. She sat by the roadside, taking a deep breath. She can either change her tyre there and then, but then again, she’s not good in it or she could drive to the nearest petrol station and get some help there. Thinking hard, she decided to drive to the station and get some help.

“Hey there, you need some help?” She turned and found herself face to face to a strangely good looking guy. “Urm.. yes in fact.. yes.. ” She stammered. His eyes were so blue, like the sky and she felt the immediate attraction towards this stranger.

“Your tyre’s punctured, miss ..urm..”
“Jade. Call me Jade.”
“I’m Edward.” They shooked hands as she felt the electricity surge when their hands touched.
She mumbles, “So, you know how to fix tyres? Like, are you good at it?”
He smiled and said “I believe so.” And with a slow drawl, he asked, “Do you trust me?”
She was totally hypnotised when he said that. “Yes.” She answered, sipping in his dreamy eyes and sighed.

new year, new phone?

I know I’m greedy. Having gotten my SE K810i last year, now i crave for yet another new phone. Can’t help it though, my old samsung flip phone spoilt on me last week. Dang! Yea I know i exhausted the phone to the max, but why does it have to spoil at a freaky manner? Freaky here means the battery literally went “bloated” up and boink out of its casing. I didn’t dare to charge the battery anymore.. who knows it will explode! O.O

Hehe. Was kidding la. Anyways. Was talking to a friend back then, he recommended smartphones to me. Which made me seriously thought about it, now that my phone is spoilt. So i did a little research on it… i like HTC’s Touch Pro and Touch 3G. Prefer the former much, much better cuz it has the qwerty keypad. Plus it looks totally cool with the slide up keypad. And then I read on Frank’s blog… talking abt the new SE Xperia.. it looks something like the HTC’s Touch Pro.. (slide up keypad function) and what made me like it better is because its SE! I totally love SE phones btw.

However the down part of these smartphones is that they cost soOooOoo expensive! RM 3K for each, except for Touch 3G, at RM 2K. Which means, 1 month’s salary gone. Plus it cost as much as getting a laptop… I don’t know.. still very much considering it as much of my savings went to NZ trip..

But I really want to get it. Badly. Seriously.

or rather Rob Pattinson..! I know, i know…I’ve been bitten and smitten wholly by the irresistable vampire, Edward Cullen… (who could resist his smug and shy smile, not to mention his __) *melts*

Though i found the girl, Kirsten Stewart rather pretty (alike Emma Watson in some ways), she can’t really act! Be it happy, sad, terrifying, her face emotions remain the same, scared and sullen look. Well. At least she’s not PMSing like Hermione Granger in the movie. Hehe.

back to work.

Back to work. Bo mood. Whatever. Sigh. After a long break (plus the extended “trip” to PD and KK), do you honestly think one will have the mood to work?

Don’t really wanna fret about my mood here (obviously not being good). On a side note, I’m kinda down with some flu and cough. Not sure how I got it but it’s affecting my sleep. Every once in awhile I’ll wake up to an abrupt cough and then try to fall asleep again. Had actually wanted to try taking cough mixture but then again after checking the time, it was 4am so I do have to wake up for work.

This weekend will be a very loong weekend. Me staying back here very much depending on the plans the guys will organise. Perhaps picnic in Cherating or movies/bowling in Kuantan sth liddat. (I wanna watch Twillight!) I’m kinda tired of traveling far. But if no plans looms ahead, perhaps home is not that bad. Heheh.

Helen suddenly announced she mite be visiting Msia! That’s reli cool! Me and sis did some last minute plannings for her.. Was thinking if they are coming bek early, they can join me in KK for a 2 nights trip, but too bad they’re coming late. But they’ll be coming to Kerteh for a weekend yeay! (No, its not a punishment!) Plus with Singapore plans for Xmas, the following weekends will be quite interesting!

Gtg. Have to get my daily dose of caffeine or I’ll look like a dead cat. Or be like a dead cat.
