Frickin bored!

I finally cleaned my room.. korek out all my stuff under the bed and wipe everywhere.. the amount of dust and hair… gosh, I’ve been breathing stuffy air all these while! Thank god for the long weekend! Hehe. Anyways. The room is now clean and nice.

Had a long conversation with a friend and it got me thinking. Are we so dependent on internet nowadays that we’re meeting new people online rather than face to face? And can we trust the people we meet online? I’m not a big fan of meeting newbies online but it seemed to workout for few of my friends. And sex before marriage seems to be a norm for any relationship nowadays… not that I’m against it.. but will it be a requirement for all relationship in order for them to move on?

Haha. Told ya i was bored. Time for detox with green tea!

I’m just so lazy!

If you notice, I havent been blogging lately… I’m just so frickin lazy to blog.. Plus I’ve started writing on FB notes, but I realise the crowd reading my notes comprises of a larger crowd (work, friends, family) so I guess I gotta start using wordpress again. Lolx. WordPress has a new layout.. hate it..

Anyways. Its a holiday today and I’m stuck in Kerteh. Sigh. I wanna go back! But there’s just SOOoOOOOoOO much work! Don’t get me wrong, I dont want to turn out a workaholic, but circumstances are such, I do not have a choice.. whoever says working with Pet is a matter of goyang kaki, don’t let me hear it! *whacks*

Recently I’ve been experimenting buying cosmetics online.. Got two Clarins cleanser (75ml * 2 bottles) for Rm 40 and Lancome cleanser (30ml * 4 bottles) for RM 46. Frickin cheap! But I’ll try it out first.. Hopefully no side effect haha.. I mean, its only a cleanser rite..

And also, recently I’m kinda hooked up to Kelly Clarkson’s new song Already Gone… (super jiwang, but who cares?).. I really wished her tour for the new album will cover Asia.. but she’s only touring in USA.. shucks big time. Btw, Jason Mraz was a darling haha.. Roomie was so in love with him after the concert..

A little something I did yday while in Penang… perming my hair! Actually it looks a little “afro” after awhile… but i kinda like it.. makes me look a little wild, rather than the innocent good girl look i always have.. Hmm.

At second glance I think my hair did not look all that great haha.. doesn’t befit the corporate image (that I’m supposed to have) what shall i do!

busy hectic whatever.

Shucks. Flight to Penang is delayed by 2 hrs! Right now I’m in the KLIA Golden Lounge using their not so Golden services and eating their definitely not Golden class food. My stupid flight got delayed and the KL Sentral peeps has not updated me when I tried to check in 10 minutes shy of 2 hours. Wasted my effort of driving, or more like speeding all the way from Kerteh. I seriously hope I won’t get a ticket from this..

Anyways. Golden Lounge in KLIA sucks. Cept for their superb wifi connection, you should prolly not even try to touch their food. Everything is exceptionally sth… (wantan mee was exceptionally salty, kurma ayam was exceptionally tasteless… ) Thank god for the excellent wifi that saved the day.

This month is an exceptionally tiring one. Start off the month with CPB cycle, BCP exercise and lots and lots of traveling. 1 weekend in KL, next in KK, now heading to Penang and will end it KL for a final meeting before CNY break. Hope my supply of vit c and cough med is enough to last till I’m well.

I can’t believe it. One weekend has passed by so fast. I spent my whole weekend in office, finishing up the presentation pack to be presented to my GM tmr. (Right now I’m actually starving, having no dinner but maybe I’ll grab my milo pack later). Plus another pack to brief GM on my dept’s role and responsibilities. Apparently there are some smart kids out there want to abolish my department saying that we’re an extra layer of reporting in the planning hierrachy. Gosh. Maybe its best for me (i get to go KL!) but I don’t exactly feel satisfied seeing the upper management not appreciating our existence.

Anyways. Am just gonna focus on my presentation tomoro AND going back home this Wed! Yippie Ki Yay!

back to work.

Back to work. Bo mood. Whatever. Sigh. After a long break (plus the extended “trip” to PD and KK), do you honestly think one will have the mood to work?

Don’t really wanna fret about my mood here (obviously not being good). On a side note, I’m kinda down with some flu and cough. Not sure how I got it but it’s affecting my sleep. Every once in awhile I’ll wake up to an abrupt cough and then try to fall asleep again. Had actually wanted to try taking cough mixture but then again after checking the time, it was 4am so I do have to wake up for work.

This weekend will be a very loong weekend. Me staying back here very much depending on the plans the guys will organise. Perhaps picnic in Cherating or movies/bowling in Kuantan sth liddat. (I wanna watch Twillight!) I’m kinda tired of traveling far. But if no plans looms ahead, perhaps home is not that bad. Heheh.

Helen suddenly announced she mite be visiting Msia! That’s reli cool! Me and sis did some last minute plannings for her.. Was thinking if they are coming bek early, they can join me in KK for a 2 nights trip, but too bad they’re coming late. But they’ll be coming to Kerteh for a weekend yeay! (No, its not a punishment!) Plus with Singapore plans for Xmas, the following weekends will be quite interesting!

Gtg. Have to get my daily dose of caffeine or I’ll look like a dead cat. Or be like a dead cat.

Happy 23rd Birthday~

Aih. Old liao. Yes, I’ve turned 23 on last Monday.

Haha.. whatever Well. Just had dinner with FY and UA on 19th.. din reli do much after checking in Equatorial. Received manyyy smses and messages on FB and Fster~! Felt really touched by the amount of people who wished me!

And u know what’s even suprising?? Even the HOTEL knows its my bday! They sent me a choc cheese cake up to my room with candles and matches! Well the ONLY sucky part is that…. they thought I was a GUY! When I checked in, the process took sooooo long.. and I questioned them.. guess wht, they told me they thought I was a guy, so they’ve assigned me to a GUY roomie.. hehe.. wouldn’t hurt if the guy’s hot but oh well, what are my chances of getting a cute hot roomie rite….. So I got a new room all to myself! Hehe.. I guess that’s why they wrote “Mr Lim, Happy Birthday” on my cake. But still, it’s lovely~

Looks yummy isn’t it? I shared it with my training friends.. it was a small group of 15 people.. and in the 5 days, we’ve became close friends… We enjoyed the food tremendously, taking our sweet time eating, sometimes forgetting that we have classes to attend! Haha.. WELL, one of us sed, “We’re like anak orang kaya, coming here to enjoy ourselves with food, gym and sauna on a paid trip!” Hehe.

am i losing sleep?

Its 2.30am and i’m wide awake. I woke up sweating, and wondered did i have a bad dream in my sleep just now.. but even with the air con blasting, i couldn’t fall back to sleep.

was doing alot of thinking during this time. partially about work, about life and choices and some on love. work, let’s not get started there. it would most prolly bore those who’re reading it.

life and choices. Was speaking to yy about my upcoming trip to nz, and she said i am a rich woman, to be able to afford to pay for partial of the trip myself. i guess when i first knew i’m gonna go nz.. i’ve already put a reservation amount on how much to save every month to be able to pay for at least half of it. plus parents aren’t gonna be so nice to sponsor it again, (i’m working for 7 fricking months dy~!) it’s all about choices, whether you choose to save or to use it. and i choose to save. AND to use it for my NZ trip

Love. Pretty common topic. Some of my friends said I’m very emo, prolly with the recent emo comments i put in my gtalk status.. ex: “if your heart is closed, don’t lock it..” and “Don’t get me wrong if i’m acting so distracted.. i’m thinking about the fireworks that go off when you smile!“. actually i didn’t write it myself.. stole the words from songs that i’ve been listening to lately. esp for the first gtalk status.. a friend commented, “hati must keras”. I guess i shud.. or i’ll get my heart broken over nothing..

Anyways. I realised i’ve been blogging alot lately… guess i’m damn bored here! Beraya in Kerteh is soooo not fun.. (tho i can claim 2 days in lieu) i shall see if there is a need for me to be on duty again next year during Raya times… i reli want to be back home for a long weekend… and yet i’m stuck here. Sigh. Thank god for Renu and Tim to be around this weekend or else i’ll rot alone in ulu-ulu town.

land before time

made me cried. It’s been sometime when i last cried for a cartoon movie… i think the last one was Monster Inc., when Sulley had to leave Boo at the end of the movie. For Land Before Time, it was when Little Foot’s mother died. Damn touching. And when they found the Great Valley.. the reunion of the five dinosaurs’ families was stirring too. Love love love Little Foot.
