when good news overcomes the bad..

i just got a call from a dear friend of mine… and mannnn was i suprised to hear he got pet offer to work in ulu2 town and yes i am talking abt the same ulu2 town i am stuck in! i just started screaming and i think shud my hsemates are around, they would think i’m crazy! hahaha.

let’s think of me and haliff’s history. i met him back in the main hall in utp, taking our foundation english paper. we spoke, we laughed, we joked, we became friends and now we’re buddies. when i am low and down, i will call him up. when i have problems that is making me confused, i talk to him a lot. once we were in coffee bean ipoh together, some utpians actually thought we were a couple. hehe. whatever la these ppls.

okay, i am making him sound like an angel. he is not, really. nobody is that perfect (i hope he never reads this hehe) hahaha. i’m just so happy that he is coming here. bertambah la another gang of mine working in pet. frank and leesh must be freaking out now. hehe. don’t worry ppls, u either get thrown here or you get thrown even further to Sabah or Sarawak.

he will be here after our convocation. in the meanwhile i am supposed to find him a place to stay. well i think i found one dy, but i hope they won’t mind waiting until Sept till he moves in.

yeay. just when i think all news are bad… this is actually suprisingly great! yeay!

KL here i come!

I most prolly coming to KL on 3rd to 5th March and also 17th March (2 weeks).. The former trip will be for a business training trip and latter trip will be for an induction program held for new Pet executives.

I’ll be most prolly staying Hotel Nikko for the first trip.. Imagine, 4 nights for RM1500! And a return flight from here to KL. Paid by my dept, I think.. So for those who are undergoing Pet interview.. doesn’t it urge you to want to work here??

I came bek from lunch and den I saw the EY cutie!!! His face brightens as I saw him… I can slowly feel my mood lifting up because of his smile..

AWWWWWWW.

OMG. I’m acting so insane.. like a high school kid.. Sigh.. He’s leaving for KL later and only be back next year… sigh. Well, at least I get to cuci mata for 4 days lah.

Image Consulting Workshop??

I was having mee kari with Khai Yi, Joey and afew other utpians and suddenly KY announced that they’re having a workshop in KDRP (Kelab Desa Rantau Pet) on Wednesday.. and they ajak me to come along.. so I went to office and selambernyer ask Kak Tini if I can go.. haha.. since there’s no work yet rite…

And so I went the next day.. Since this is my first “workshop” in Pet, I didn’t have any expectations on how the event is supposed to go.. I saw the utpian juniors there at 8 (I was there before 8 la) and they told me to go in to have bfast. O.o Since I had bfast in the hotel already, I just had a cup of coffee.

Then, when the session start, I saw this funny looking chinese lady walking into Anjung Kemasik and realised she’s the instructor for today. She’s quite an expert in teaching people abt imaging and make ups and the colors that suit different people. Throughout the lesson, she told me that I’m a Spring/Summer person, which means, I shud wear clothes that are of colors of Spring, like periwinkle blue, bright red, green and yellow. Ha. I don’t even haf any of such clothes. Anyways. She taught us how to stand.. and guess what, we all stand like guys. haha.. the correct techniques is to stand left foot angled to the left abit and right foot angled 45 degrees from the left. O.o

Then, she had a make-up session for the gals.. I volunteered to be a model.. hehe.. Well, since my eyes is single eyelid, it is usually very hard to make up.. I always use the same techniques to do my eye.. anyways, she put some eyeliner on the corners of my upper eyelid, and then use a brush to brush it to the middle. Den she put some highligher on the rest of the uncovered area or my eye.. I thought I look quite good.. ngeh ngeh.. prasan case..

AND.. KY requested that I include another very funny section of the make-up part.. the instructor wanted to teach the techniques of wearing tudung.. And it wud make things easier if one of the chinese girls volunteer.. and of cuz me and Joey pushed KY in front.. ngeh ngeh.. her hair is tied into a bun.. and a scarf is tied on her face.. and after pusing2 abit, her tudung is done.. she actually looked quite cute. Hahaha.. later i got photo will upload here. Ngeh ngeh.. (KY, u better bribe me fast!)

And ANYWAYS. The van came and fetch me after my workshop and guess who I saw in the van?! This RELI RELI cute chinese looking malay guy.. he’s an auditor from EY and he’s here for a week but yesterday was his final day! Boo Hoooooo… me and Renuka were just oogling over him, while Khairul (the other guy that came with us) was laughing at us.. That EY guy is RELI RELI friendly oso and cuz he work closely with the Finance people in Level 3, I oways see him outside my office.. hahaha.. okay la.. at least i did cuci mata for 3 days dy and I finally talked to him on his last day here.. haha..

Okay.. time to “pretend to look busy”. Dahh..

Sick again

I’m reli not in the mood of writing a post..but I’m seriously bored at home. What is there to do, except reading newspapers, household chores, ocassional shopping outing with frens..

And once again I had the stomach flu attack.. vomitted 5 times on the same night.. Dad brought me to the clinic and omg, this doc is a totally psycho.

First, he shooked my head. As in, pusing my head up and down, left and right, bengkok here and there. THEN, he asked, “Giddy or not?” I’m like, “WHAT?!” He said, “You said u r abit giddy rite? So I wanna test ma” -_-”

Second, he checked my ear to see if there’s any inflamation. And once again, I was subjected to “violence” when he GRABBED my ear and bengkok my head one side and while he checked, he was pinching a side of my ear. PAINFUL dohhhh.

Thirdly (and lastly, phew!) he gave me a jab to stop the vomit.. and with his usual amount of “care”, he injected clumsily (and painfully) into my blood veins.. (and while I was gritting my teeth), he painfully extracted the needle from my body. God knows how much pain I had to endure in this trip to the doc.

Haih. When I came bek, I had another session of vomitting and slept the whole day Wednesday and NOW, I’m pretty much healed. Thank god.

Resolutions… make or break?

Here are some resolutions of this sem.

1. I will go clubbing at least once a month. (fingers crossed)
2. I will make a point to meet more people, by invitations or inviting them.
3. I will go for sports more often than my past semesters here.
4. I will explore more places in Ipoh!

Hmm. Lets see what resolutions did I make and break.

RESOLUTION 1. I will go clubbing at least once a month. (fingers crossed)
Well, I didn’t go clubbing every month la.. but on my final month.. its crazy.!!! With the bracketed “fingers crossed”, I shall assume that my first resolution is made and followed! Hee..

RESOLUTION 2. I will make a point to meet more people, by invitations or inviting them.
Mmm. Well, I did meet more people here and there.. Chia ming, Audrey, Roy.. (and the Shark ppls ) and … and … . I guess I didn’t meet as much people as I thought. But at least I make an effort to meet them up I guess.. Heheh.. This resolution.. HALFWAY DONE!

RESOLUTION 3. I will go for sports more often than my past semesters here.
FAIL! No question about this.. Wanted to go for sports but FYP and loads of projects on my shoulder! (Thank god that’s over and done with!)

RESOLUTION 4. I will explore more places in Ipoh!
Hehehe. Oh yea~~ Finally found out how to go to Medan Gopeng, Wooley, Moven Peak, Babyface and Shark! Hehehe.

My final say? 2.5 out of 4.. okay what… hehehehe..

Engineering Design Exhibition 20!

Remember my previous rants about being shortlisted in EDX? Yesh, finally after a super loooooong break, I’m finally free to blog about it!

My booth, undecorated yet. Plain and ugly!

Decorating the booth was fun, although there was SO many setbacks initially. My plan was to paste the sugarpaper as the backdrop of the fugly booth and then paste my poster cardboard on it. APPARENTLY, the board is too soft and the sugarpaper wasn’t strong enough to support the weight of the cardboard! Many of the poster cardboards came crashing down KEBABOOM! Gosh. So after devising some smart plans with Iwan, I decided to paste the poster cardboard str8 on the board, instead to the sugarpaper. After putting a gazillions amount of double-sided tape, green tack and cellotapes, finally my cardboard stayed on the baord. Phew!

It was midnight, and people are still preparing their booth!

And apparently, I won silver medal for my insignificant effort for my FYP! Woo hooo! I’m shocked actually to get the message from Daarsh, and some juniors actually came up to me to congratulate me! Heheh.. Abit bangga, yet abit pai seh, cuz I know I didn’t RELI do a good job at it lah. Perhaps the judges just want the concept, and not the final product. Heheh.

Whatever. I won. WOo HoOOooo.

Happenings in the past few weeks..

These past few weeks have been terribly tiring! Assignments, projects, final presentations.. UTP IS KILLING US mannnnnn!

Anyways, i wanna put up pics but UTP internet is damn slow! Hehehe.. I took sooooooo much photos in these past few weeks, now I think i know which smile I will look best in the camera, which pose I shud do to look perfect in photos.. blablabla.. heehehe..

Btw, THANKS guys for celebrating my bday in Rums! This will be my 2nd bday celebration in a club Just love bday celebs in clubs.. cakes and drinks are the perfect combo!

PLUS the karaoke session on Monday.. those super embarassing vid clips should be deleted! Hehehehe. And once again, we sang for almost 6 hours!

Perhaps the most productive weekend in UTP.. yet.

This will be a very short post as I’m very busy now.. Just wanna update a little..

Last weekend, I managed to do a lot of work, and most importantly, I started on FYP. Yea, I know.. FINALLY! Heheh.. Thanks to Bismo for the headstart.. I’ve completed the initial parts.. login.. lost password.. all those lah.. so now will start on the serious part.. which is the FORMS. Mannnn. I hate FYP. Just thinking about it gives me headache. Can I pay someone to do it for me? Progress report due this week, next week is Pre-EDX. So crazy can ki siao now.

Plus Panasonic emailed and asked to come for an aptitude test and C Programming test. C PROG?! That’s like, so ancient mannn! It’s next Tuesday and in Cyberjaya. Should I go or not? Haih. If I go, I will have to skip a lot of classes, not to mention Pre-EDX is next week too.
